Cloud Folio
I was taking part in a competitive event that was a part of FBLA, Future Business Leaders' Association, an organization motivated to inspire students to become leaders in the world. One of the competitive events that they have is called Mobile Application Development, something that I was and am really interested in. So, I was given the task of managing the issuance of books and providing other information, such as a map of the library. The app has a register page and a create accounts page with for a user who could either be a teacher or a student. Then, they can scroll through a list of books and act on them, such as checkout, hold, bookmark, or share. Furthermore, they can access the school map and return, pickup, or delete books from their checkouts, holds, or bookmarks respectively. There is also an Admin mode where the user would be able to view every single user in the app, the books that they have acted (checked out, held etc.) on, and their feedback. So, I created this app on both iOS and Android using Firebase as my backend.
